KOMATSU FD 150-7

Hi everyone,

I have a Komatsu FD 150 - 7 which is having some issue on its forward and reverse mode.

It takes quite a while (30 - 40 Secs) to move after engaging either the Forward or Reverse Lever.

Can any kind soul please enlighten me what might be the problem ?

Thanks in advance

Stan

Hey Stanley; A milky colour of oil can only mean that there's water inside the transmission, hen you changed the oil did you changed the filter? When the pressure are good (cold and warm oil transmission) then I believe you need to look at the convertor. Add your email in your profile.
Kind regards

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your reply & apologise for the delay in replying back to you.

The initial transmission oil was a little milky sort of colour. However problems still presist even after we changed the oil completely.

One strange point we noted was that the machine seems to be well in the morning after the very first start up.
And the problem came back the moment we turn the engine off and start again.

The pressure on the valve was normal.

Any ideas what might be the problem ?

Kind regards

Stan

Hey Stan,
It's a bit difficult but have you seen the colour of the transmission oil and controlled the pressure on the transmission valve?
Kind regards
