Hi,
I have this strange thing with a Komatsu FB16-1E 1996 with a Bosch control:
I had no drive, lift or steering, and the indicator counted from 001 to 009 when i pressed the accelerator.
I replaced the complete accelerator with a brand new one, (factory calibrated I suppose)). I now have this:
- When I press the accelerator the truck drives, lifts and steers
- when I loosen the accelerator slowly the wheels slow down
- when i loosen it further in the last 1/2 cm the steering motor goes on/off/on/off/etc.; about 1 second rithm. I get A09.
- when i loosen the accelarator completely and the switch is actuated and the wheels go full speed !!
I was very happy I followed the rules and had the wheels off the floor.
So when I don't fully release the accelarator the truck functions normal. Adjusting the potentiometer won't help, pressing the switch gives full speed no matter where the potentiometer is.
Who can help me solving this problem?
Anyone have a wiring or a workshop manual?

Solved.
I replaced the resistors on the PCB. But I was wondering what caused the burning of it. So I measured the resistance on the wiring and from B+ and B- to ground.
It turned out I had B- lying to ground somewhere. That was quite a search. I found two shortcuts:
1. Some mechanic put a new turn signal on the forklift and that was grounded. Removed that. But I still measured chassis to ground.
2. The cable loom was stuck behind the valve block. The wire from the accelerator to the direction switch was grounded over there.
After that tested the forklift and everything was fine.

Yes it is a TVH accelerator. I got the partnumber from a Komatsu parts book of this truck. It only has a start switch. It is identical to the original one. 6 wires: three of the potmeter and three of the switch. So no mistakes possible with a shortcut/full speed switch.
I dont have another Bosch control so I cant compare, maybe someone knows something.
If I mount a new PCB do I have to teach it in or program it?

in alot of these accelerator controls they have a pot, and a start switch and a high speed switch. In some cases if there is only one switch it would be a start/init switch or a high speed switch depending on how it is configured to turn on when the pedal is pressed, either at the beginning of the stroke as a start switch or at the end of the stroke at full pedal as a high speed switch.
I do have one question though, did the old accelerator assy have a part number on it? If so does it match the part you got as a replacement? Is the replacement part OEM or aftermarket (TVH)??
As for that PCB with the burned resistor your either going to have to find another truck like that one and see what it is on that truck (if its not burned). Or replace the module assy complete. The mfg will not give you specs on components because they probably do not know exactly, they usually farm out components from other companies that make them for them. And even if you could i doubt the engineers would tell you.
i would double check that accelerator assy and make sure it is the correct one. And also replace that PCB.
Got a bit further already.
I opened the control box and found a buned SMD resistor R139. I found in another thread this is a sacrificial resistor. Can anyone tell me the value of it because the colors are no longer there.
If I decide to replace the PCB. Is it factory adjusted or do I need a Bosch adjusment tool? (which I don't have).
