Komatsu FB15MJ-2 (steinbock) controller repair

Is there anywere in UK that can test and repair controller unit for this model. The contoller is MP 616K 24v and has the intials JH on the sticker. It has an intermittent fault, the fault light is flashes 10x. (short circuit of final stage-> replace complete MP616K drive control). But the fault is only intermittent and the truck will run for a while before breaking down.

Hi Leon,

My company repairs a lot of these type of controllers (check your email).

When does the fault happen, is it when the truck is driving? or does it happen when the truck is first switched on? you may have an intermittent earth fault on the drive or hydraulic motor, or the motor cables it may be just a build up of carbon dust from the brushes in the motors causing the the controller to give the fault code. Also check the line contactor tips.
