fault code c16 e45 truck just stops needs reset have swopped tiller head thought was fault on panic button , was ok for a week now returned ? fault codes or ideas please

Check motor cables for shorts or bare spots , check chassis voltage. Depending on the year of truck, there was an issue where a ribbon cable inside motor controller was coming loose, you would have to remove cover to inspect

just happens at any time direction etc have unplugged everything seems to go for a while then couple of days comes back?

How often does this code come up, does it happen when truck jarred? Could be motor speed sensor or motor controller.

hi friends no power steering , unplugged everything and refitted now have c16 e19 only very occasionaly truck stops dead could it be control head cable break ? ta

Like nacsand inquired, this code relates to steering. Check steer sensor, too many pulses from sensor or possible noise interference.
