HI.
This seems to be a common issue. I do think you have a load on "backside" maincontactor. You tell the beam lights up slowly, and it is because it is connected after main contactor. NEVER EVER connect any extras after main contactor. Always on "batteryside" The capacitors inside controllers need to be charged and that is not possible if you load after contactor. I've seen this several times.
Best regards. MAX

hi thanks for help
we had battery voltage one side of contactor and when operated only 12/18 volts on other side climbing to battery voltage over time so we replaced contactor but still have same results
battery voltage is 51 volts and all the lights work perfectly apart from the beacon that only starts after battery voltage at contactor is reached

any other ideas

Hi....... I think you have a cabel problems.....You have a broken cabel somewhere after the main contactor....or in the main shalter cabel.......after you switch on the truck you have a positive
battery(+) on the chasi of truck.......chek it....

I think the problem is in on the right hand side on the hidraulic valve blok.....remove the plastic cover of the hidraulic valve blok and see the main power cabels...that is the place where he broken.........if are not.....chek all main power cabel.
battery(+) to main shalter....to main contactor.......to fusses.....to power supply of controlers...

Good luck....)

From my point of view, the problem is at the display board. It may be damaged or the supply might be too low.For the beginning check the supply on the display board. The supply must be at least 12V and comes from the left traction controller(this is also the CANBus supply). Also you must check the interface 3/4.

Hi there

Once the line contact comes in are you getting the stated voltage on both sides of the line contactor power terminals?

If on one side you have full battery voltage and the switch side you have the stated voltage then it must be bad tips. ON the other hand if you have the 12/18 v on both sides then you need to trace the supply back to the battery and make sure the battery itself or connection from the battery to the controller side is ok? Sounds like a battery problem to me or the line contactor itself.
