Hello,
I have been thinking to buy a forklift.
We will use just 30-40 mins a week mainly inside our warehouse which is 1 hour away from our shop.
So I was thinking to buy an electronic forklift(lead acid) because they don't make smell.
However I got to know that I might damager battery by over-charging or under charging. So I got to think to buy a lithium ion forklift.
However it is very expensive and it is overkill for my purpose.
it made me to think to buy a Hangcha lithium-ion forklift directly from China.
It will cost about $23,000 + shipping, tax etc.
I heard that electric forklift doesn't broke well compared with gas powered forklift, and HC Lithium ion forklift is built good.
Please let me know what do you think if you have used lithium ion HC forklift.
Thank you.
I searched about Hangcha forklift, and I couldn't get much information.

In my country of origin, a competiting dealer is selling them and I see them around the town. Mast is copied from Toyota usually, which is good. However with that low usage, it's almost certain that Li-on would be overkill. Lead acid does not smell horribly by just staying in storage. With that low usage you would charge the truck once in 2 weeks. If you keep the acid/water mix up and dont dry charge, there shouldn't be any bad smell.
Go find yourself a low hour toyota hyster/yale , cat or clark lp unit.Less hassle forget to plug in that battery and you need it real bad the next day you will wait for a while. Keep an extra propane tank around and just swap it out and you are back in business. LI in your application seems to be a case of overkill.
