The Ipad is a great asset for all techs and salesman, that being said it has not dislodged the laptop from its place in the field, this is only my opinion of corse and im sure people out there will disagree with me on this. I would recommend if you currently have a labtop, which it looks like you do, keep the labtop, and start with an appropriate Iphone and if you like the Iphone you can ditch the labtop when the labtop dies.
