Intermittent Drive issue

Need some help! Our forklift has recently developed an intermittent problem. When using the foot brake it sometimes does not want to go back into f/r. After releasing and depressing the foot brake several times and moving the boom up and down you will finally hear the contactor close and your good to go until the next time it randomly decides to do this. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Here are a few things to focus on:

Remove and test resistance of brake switch, steer motor solenoid switch (both are close to each other) and directional switches. VERY IMPORTANT to physically remove switches and wires attached to them before testing resistance.

Must have an EV 100 LX handset for this: attach handset to EV 100 Oscillator card and perform "Tune Up" of card. Must use the settings that are outlined in Crown RC3000 service manual.
