Discussion:
Intermittent accelerator

Wondering if anyone might know what is wrong with my ACE50 electric forklift. When you step on the accelerator the contact won't stay engaged. If you go very and I mean very lightly on the accelerator then it will stay engaged and you can move across the floor. Sometimes when you are going across the floor it will kick out too. I have already replaced all 3 of the little pots that are located in the box under the steering wheel. Don't know where to start again. Any help appreciated.

Not sure which controller system it has but going by the model number can i assume it has an AC controller?
If so then most likely the display will show an error message / code when the contactor kicks out.
It could be an accelerator pot or a component in the system causing the issue.
First off make sure the battery is fully charged and does not have any load related problems due to any bad cells or low electrolyte levels.

Goldfish are opportunistic feeders that have no stomach and lack that natural "fullness" signal. This means they will eat constantly if food is available, leading to serious health issues such as blocked intestines and obesity from overfeeding.
