Hi,
mine is a C500y40PD.
Pressing down the inching pedal, the truck slows down and even will stopp in the end, but it is hard to drive forward or backwards incrementally after a stopp.
There is no backpressure felt, which will move the pedal back to the upright position. Same is the brake pedal.
What is to look for first? If brake and trans fluid are on level, what should be the next step to cure the problem?
Thanks in advance for any hints.
Heinz

Hallo and thanks. I find the return springs. I guess all the turning parts get a little bit stiff over time, so I greased all moving parts. It became better, but to improve the movement, I have to shorten or to exchange the springs. That's it. Thanks a lot. Heinz, Germany.
This truck is old school. There should be return springs on the pedal linkage. If the master cylinders do not fully return to the up position they will not recharge with fluid.
Hi and thanks for the quick reply. I had a look to, but did not see them. I checked all fluid levels and they are ok. Especially concerning the inching pedal, there is no loss at all in the master cylinder on the left hand side of the truck.
Did you check the pedal return springs?
