Discussion:
hyundai or tailift

I am a current dealer for a mainstream forklift manufacturer. We are considering the possibility of adding another forklift line-and currently are considering Hyundai or Tailift.Any info relative to pros or cons of either/both lines mentioned would be very helpful to our decision making process-thanks.

I have lots of experience with many leading forklift manufacturers and I have to disagree with the last post.
Hyundai are a quality product and not cheap, if anything I think they have pitched the price to high. the electric machines are bullet proof and very easy to service and the diesels from Mk 5 on are excellent. these machines are streets ahead of the Chinese/Taiwan makes.

Andrew your info must be years out of date

Ive worked on tailift FG25 trucks. Simple to maintain, good engine (nissan h20) and pretty reliable. Things that let them down are switches and some of the electrics (deadman) but other than that there ok. They've probably improved a bit since then tho.

Not a fan of hyundai trucks a bit cheap and nasty i think
