I have a Hyundai that gives the fault code of M4F incorrect start. Truck has no travel.

hy,

you mixed the movements. Mainly we have aproblem, if you example, press the pedal and switch the machine to directon. This is the incorrect start. Ignition off.... on, choose direction, press pedal. Mainly this is the problem.
