hydraulic hose fitting removal

hi i just wanted to know if you need a special tool to remove the hydraulic fittings on the valve chest or how can i remove them?i am not sure of the model of this truck but its a 48v reach truck year 2007.

They are STH and STH-C. STH older style have a long black rubber boot on the end and the STH-C dose not and they are shorter collars they are not interchangeable if you mix them you can get them stuck and then it's a pain. Here the part numbers for caps and plugs and tools

those fittings that have a flange or collar that you slide back to release? in our neck of the woods they are called 'quick disconnect' or 'quick release' couplers.

if you have one that is leaking fluid look on the inside of the female side, you will see an o-ring, they wear out or get cut, you can usually just replace the o-ring and that will fix the leak. I believe they are metric also ;o)

Do you know what is the name of this kind of fittings? I've been having lots of problem looking for this kind of fittings and its not available here in the Philippines.

If it's the same as the ETV320 then there should be a flange on the hose fitting. To remove push down on the flange and pull the hose up to release it for the block
