Discussion:
How to replace fan belt?

I have a Toyota 2FG14 forklift and the fan belt broke. It only has two pulleys, the one on the water pump, and the one engine crank. The one on the crank is on some kind of shaft that has a u-joint. I looks like it goes to the rear of the fork lift and drives some kind of hydraulic pump. My question is, how do I get the belt around the crank pulley?

Not familiar with that particular model but many IC forklifts have that setup. you have to disconnect/slip in belt/reconnect the u-joint. Just be careful not to let everything fall apart.
