Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) C3000:
How to clear a code.

Anyone know the secret to clearing codes on a CAT C3000?

The unit overheated due a bad water pump. I changed out the water pump and the temperature guage shows normal now but all the dash lights keep blinking and a code E-33 (overheat) is present. Does it go away after awhile?

Any tips would be great.

Hi, did you figure out how to clear the code? I need to do this myself and could use the tip?

did you open the bleed screw on the top of the water pump housing when refilling the cooling system? could have air trapped in there causing water pump cavitation.
