Toyota 42-2FG15:
Help me identify this brake part

I just picked up a 42-2FG15 lift and I'm trying to diagnose some brake problems. There's a component in the brake system I can't identify and I'm wondering if any of you guys know what it is.

It's under the foot plate on the left side; a line comes from the brake master cylinder into the top of it, then another line comes out the side and is split between the wheel cylinders. It's got a bleeder screw, and it's also got two lines that come off it and go into the transmission.

Can anyone help me figure out what this thing is called and what it does?

Thanks,

Isaac

Yep, there is. Engine running or not makes no difference.

If you shut the engine off, is there still any pressure coming out of bleeders?

I think the wheel cylinders are seized as the brakes are rock hard and don't do anything to stop the lift. If you crack a bleeder the pedal will sink to the floor while squirting fluid from the bleeder.

No motor on the valve. Is it possible to post pics here? I have a picture which would probably be helpful. Thanks!

May I ask what is the brake problem?
Does this valve with bleeder screw2 have a DC motor as well?
