Help Identifying Forklift & Motor

Hi All, new to the forum but hoping for some help identifying this old Yale forklift. I am primarily looking for engine information since it seems to have a rod knock and I'll be tearing into it. This forklift looks like it was converted from gasoline at some point (old tank and filler neck is still installed). It now runs off of propane.

I can't seem to quickly locate any engine data tags, maybe someone can point me in the right direction? It looks like a continental 4 cylinder flat head to me? Thanks in advance!

there should be a name plate on the side of the block with the engine information on it.
usually where the bottom of the block bells out, not sure which side though.
As for the year? these were made before yale started using the suffix letter on the end of the serial number to identify the year, they only started doing this in 1995 so you'll have to give the serial number to the mfg so they can tell you when. This is a pre 1995 truck though.

Thank you Swoop223 this is excellent information. Any idea where on the engine block I can confirm that it is indeed a Continental F-163? I'm likely going to degrease it tomorrow so hopefully that will help. How about determining the year of the truck itself? Thanks!!
