Linde (& Baker) H50T:
Heat at rear

I have a 394U (2007) with 32,000 hours on it. The problem is it is getting extremely hot. Not the engine coolant but the counter weight. The counter weight gets so hot you can't put your hand on it. It has the dual LP tanks. Even the LP tanks are getting too hot to touch. The engine coolant isn't reaching more than 99 Celsius. Any idea where to start on this matter?

You might remove lp tanks and mountings and put insulation under tanks. I have used the type that is used in trailers. Check heat with thermo gun
