just recently went through same thing, the propane seat valve in the regulator had a tiny piece broke off allowing to much propane and would only run when line was off just sitting in front of carb, they might of sent you a broken seat valve, like they did to me.just something to check,
Yes at the carb ok I'll get some pics and send them to you.thanks again
No,i dont think wnything is wrong in intake...if your pulling hose of,where is it your doing this at....at the carb? Sounds like its getting to much fuel at carb and when you pull hose of if thats where your doing it then its dropping the PSI enough to get it started......is there any way you can take a few pictures of the regulator and solenoid and also the carb and email them to me,email is in my profile, want to see exactly what system you have...
Thanks Kevin ya I have to pull the fuel hose out a little to get it started.i installed new regulator and fuel solenoid still doing same thing I also installed new diaphragm on carb.same issue if I'm pulling fuel hose out to get it started something has to be bad in intake right? Thank you for ur help
Does this have the electronic EPR regulator, looks like an impco model j on the front and is almost 10-12 inches long? Is possible that the electronics are acting up yes.....did you use the correct rebuild parts for this, know it LOOKS like you could use model J or COBRA rebuilt parts but am sure they are very diffrent....i believe this system also has what are called fuel trim valves,is possible that they might be giving issues......
