Well now we have a manditory meeting out of no where.....wonder what this will be about, a *** session or a butt kissing meeting. What will happen next as "the world" turns!!! Are they finally getting smart and realizing they better make this a better work inviroment before they lose all they're tech's or is this another bully move telling us how we are a dime a dozen and they "management" are all mighty and we do not want to feel they're wrath. I dont even know what to say at this point. I talked to a broker today and he was telling me some things that where very interesting to here about our place of employment. Strange how things come full circle here.
Well if they do any research into the company problems and find out that they're managers are the ones sinking the ship then I am sure they will clean house and start over again! Briggs is no joke and they did not get as wealthy as they are by letting pion managers navigate they're ships into the rocks. And by the way special I just got another phone call this morning and I am one step closer to jumping ship, won't be long now thank god! Can't take much more of the bs. Oh and definatly know now who one of the others jumping ship are now, I got his name and he has an appointment with them this week and man will you be suprised at who this is, I know I was. You know it is bad when people like this are jumping ship. I can see "the world" scrambling now getting tech's from other branches staying in motels struggling to stay adrift, LOL!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Staffordshire, United Kingdom Briggs are owned by a hugely wealthy USA company called Sammons. Perhaps they will buy Barloworld's MH business which would fit with Cat dealers off loading MH businesses to concentrate on core business. Briggs seem to like buying loss making companies, why not Barloworld's MH ??

Very good special, I am also jumping ship as soon as all is in order. Who knows maybe we will all go at the same time crippling "the world" in nc and just think they are about to get a new account that was going to require them to hire 6-8 more techs,well maybe now they will need more like 10-14 lol,lets see them pull that one off. Hopefully all will happen at the same time so maybe they will realize we are not a dime a dozen!!! Lets see the managers go out there in the sweltering heat roll up they're sleeves and "try" to fix these trucks and keep the customers happy, oops i think they just sprung another leak lol, houston we got a problem and she's going down fast!!!!
Very well put Hysfort! Most of the guys I work with have found their new jobs and we are waiting for 2 more to do the same. We have planned to jump ship at the same time. Lucky for for our managers they can do a far better job then we can. LOL!!
You said the key phrase "how will they cover this mess" cause thats all they will do is cover it up,bury it,burn the files and mind erase everyone lol! The thing with them is this is just one problem of many. The head cheif has made the statement that he knows he has management problems! You can't fix the "world" over night but i bet he's working on it. The only problem is how long will it take to fix the leak????????? Cause right now there are billions of gallons of oil spuing out. And bomkyl give it time and something will happen to make you see the light, there are a lot of tech's looking for oppertunity to jump ship right now and as soon as the time is right you will see and so will the rest of the "world"!!!! "the world" is sinking and they know it but they are to stubborn to do anything about it until its to late,so you might want to start looking now cause when the ship does sink all the life rafts will be full and you will be left all alone adrift!!!!
Seems Barloworld has a lot of unhappy campers right now. Can't understand why, personally I think it is a good company to work for.
All I can say is their are a lot of good folks who work for this company. If you want to be strong please only yourself but if you want to be stronger please all. Kind words go far but negativity can stop and even reverse what had taken XYJ to accomplish.
