Hyster H155FT:
fwd/rev switch open, no transmission, but no codes

replaced switch, replaced DSC due to some small cracks and some moisture in it. There are no DTC set. Still same problem. Checked sister truck and i can check switch operation through DSC with parking brake on/off, person in or out of seat, service brake on or off. That leads me to believe the problem is not the seat switch, parking brake, or service inching etc. No fuses blown.

When replacing the DSC did you check to make sure that the option for the the direction control was set to the left side switch on the DSC?
