Rick,
We just found a problem with a jack in the shop. While making one jack from two, could not get the lift cylinder to lower completely. Removed the gland nut and pulled the rod out, found bolt in bottom had come loose. This kept the rod from lowering all they way down. If you still have the same problem, check the cylinder.
Rick,
There is no adjustment on these jacks. Either you have a mechanical or electrical problem with the jack. The raise lower linkage is solid, no threaded adjustment. Sorry
Thank you for your reply Fishmech.
This jack has not been damaged or abused as you mentioned in your reply. just regular warehouse usage. There has to be a way to lower the forks to stock height. I have tried to find a diagram or instructions on how to set the ride height back to stock.
Rick,
The jack will only rise on is on if there is a problem with the switches in the control handle or a problem with the pump. There is no adjustment for these jacks. Another problem that happens, operator will drop jack off of dock or truck and bend frame. Also, picking a load with only one fork will bend frame. These are good jacks when used correctly. Thanks.
