I only recently joined the forum and you were very helpful on here identifying an engine for one of our trucks with a failed crankshaft.
I ended up sourcing an engine from the UK as a reconditioned unit which was perfect.
However like all faults they continue. I 've fitted said engine in the truck and have had major issues in restarting truck. Fault Code D156 appears on dash when starting. Truck does start but runs for all but 1-2 secs then stops. Then will ammediatly restart again upon trying.
I've done the usual check all sensor plugs,un plug and re-check everythign but to no avail. We have sourced the fault to either a crank pick-up sensor and or flywheel pick up sensor. However upon fitting the crank sensor from another truck into this one the faults still there...
We have now had a major issue in that the sensor coming out of the pump housing on the top ( Unsure of model and or type of sensor, but looks very similer to the crank pick up sensor)
This is very damaged and potentially the fault but I'm not 100% how to get this one out. Does anyone have a blow up diagram of the complete pump for this truck and a parts list I can study. Then I can diagnose what the sensor is and or work out the best way to attack it for removal.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm ready to set fire to this truck after all the work I've done to only find out there are further issues... Potentially caused when the crank broke causing engien to stop ebruptly.
Kind regards

Can you help me? I have a lift truck Linde H40D, this machine donsn´t a speed sensor (part number 0009785008) I found a generic sensor but I want to know, to put the sensor, need a calibration, code or other thing. The machine accept generic sensors??
thanks for your attention
regards
Thanks fr your help Micky I can confirm you were correct with the part number. Unfortunetly truck still doesn't run...
Found to be a faulty Linde ECU ( 390 360 1303 ) fitted ecu to another truck and it kicks out the fuse straight away... There appears to be a short enternally. Onefault after another on this truck... Now just hoping to source a used part and or good 2nd hand part to solve the problem as an OE one is silly money and now the truck is beyond repair if we hae to purchase a new one... Anyone able to help? I will start a new thread so this doesn't get lost
Hi,
Assuming you have internet access, please check Linde part number 0009785008 and advise if this is the item you are looking for.
Yes this is the two sensors you speak about.
I have removed both sensors and the one in the pump side appears to be damaged. My guess is when the crankshaft broke it has hit the sensor causing the issue. But would this cause the truck to start and stop. Also only run for 1/2secs...??
Thanks for the prompt reply appreciate it :)
Hi Jimmy,
An I right in assuming you mean the engine speed sensor just on top of the ring gear.
If so, the sensor is held in place with a locating bolt on the side of the sensor.
Once removed, the sensor will just lift out.
Also D156 '' Traction control / heartbeat message missing for more than 400ms ''
Means engine speed sensor u/s.
I await your reply before we go any further.
