Discussion:
F4 Fault Code

I have a Daewoo BC20T that powers on but as soon as you move the gear shift into forward or reverse and hit the accelerator flashes a F4 fault code and will not move. Any suggestions?

Not sure what model you have;
The DC models give the following;
F4 bypass contacter tips closed, shorted DTR1, DTR2 or PTR1 (transistors drive left, drive right or pump), bad P9 connector on logic unit.
Driver board defective.
(if its the dc model, check all contacters, one may be stuck).

If its the AC model (starting from the pro 5 series)
Left drive inverter overcurrent.
Failed logic board or inverter.

If its the ac model, check the rs232 connectors on de inverters and check the big connector on the logic board.

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
