My boss is asking me to hook up an external charger to our wave. (the on board is faulty) Can I even do that without frying the rest of the machine??

what batteries do you have wet or sealed
24 volt,30 amp should be good
just fit a compatible small anderson plug and double check your charger polarity
when charging unplug anderson plug
right side under white tray and plug battery side (front) in to charger
if your charger is too low amp batteries will deteriorate
if too high will burn out batteries especially gell
gell 24 volt , 20 amp to 25 amp
wet 24 volt, 25 amp to 30 amp
