Discussion:
EV100 cards

Are all the cards the same, or are they tailored to a specific make/model? (Example- if 1 truck has traction control & another doesn't- would they both still use the same card?)

You can Google FSIP and find Flight systems, they have many free manuals to download.

Hi Mate

It would vary, for example I have seen the T1 and T2 and T6 cards used on the same trucks.

Most of the programmable cards are set to be used on specific types of trucks, like ZH, ZY, TT etc (even though i have tried the ZY in replacement of the ZH and works but you get no dash display and no lift)

Then you have the EV100 cards that are used on the transistor controllers power blocks, which you cannot plug into a standard ev100 controller as it will blow the card and possibly vice versa.

I would be interested to know if R1 and R2 are interchangeable as they look exactly the same ( I think a few years ago I might have replaced and R1 for an R2 but cannot remember for sure.

Been a few years but there are some cards that are interchangable and others that are not. I cant remember the numbers, back when I was turning wrenches a reliable source for info on those was Flight Systems, I dont even know if they are still around.

Fact of the week
In Germany, the 9th of November is sometimes called Schicksalstag, the "Day of Fate" because it has been the day for several major historical events, including the horrors of Kristallnacht in 1938 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
