ETV 214 error 115 CONTACTOR INPL

Hi all,

I have a problem with an ETV 214. An error 115 CONTACTOR INPL displayed. I have changed the main contactor, checked the AS4803z controller and it's absolutely ok. The wiring is also ok. Please give some advise.

What do you mean steer unit? The controller or the motor? I have installed the controller from this machine to another one and everything was ok.

If you don't have negative output from steer unit to the main contact its not going to help. I think its your steer unit if there is no negative output.

If everything is ok, when the machine is starting there is two clicks from contactors.
In my case the small contactor is energising and click once when the code is dialed, but the large contactor is not.
I have ordered one new small contactor but I'm worryed that it will not work again.

There are 2 contactors there is a small one and then the line contact which is part of the emergency stop button. In my case the little one was energising but the main contact was not.

If there is a negative feed to the K7 coil ( line contractor) try changing the contactor as they are known for breaking down.

Hi mate
Ive just recently had the same issue. As4803 steer unit seemed ok but as it supplies the negative for the line contactor and our negative was missing we replaced the steer unit and reprogrammed it in and resolved the issue.

Check line contactor supply and see if your negative is missing. Check line contact coil and make sure the wiring from the coil to the steer unit is not broke.

Regards
