Toyota 5FB15:
Error codes C0 and E5

Hello,

While moving a pallet the lift stopped with error codes C0. If I put it in gear and press the accelerator, it also issues E5.

There is no "click" when I press the pedal.

Any clues? It does have hydraulic functions.

Ob1,

I got a hold of the service manual and made a copy of both C0 and E5. I don't recall what E5 is but it isn't important because for me, C0 was all I had to fix. The primary cause of C0 is the the 3 TM thyristors.

A friend asked a friend in China to see if they can get a hold of them and he did. There are 3 so I bought 6. I took pictures of them before taking it apart. I simply measured the resistance between the terminals as shown in the service manual and determined the one that according to my multimeter was defective. I replaced all three just in case but it seemed that two of them were bad. In any case, after replacing them, C0 went away and so did E5!

Let me know if you can get a hold of a service manual. If not, I will write down here what the values should be.

Regards,
Jorge
