Crown WAVE60-118:
Error code 253??

Hi!

I have a wave 60 that randomly pop a code 253.
All is good then suddenly the wave just stop responding and beep with code 253. I have to mess with all the button, the hands, power on/off then suddenly the wave is good again. Then, 5min layer the same code 253 again. Whats the problem here? Also, when code 253 is here if I open the doors while i'm all down the alarm beep like If I would open the doors while I'm raised but i'm not. I don't know if this is due to code 253...

Thanks! :)

Ok well for this I'll have to call a crown tech because I don't have the stuff and its too advanced for me haha

Someone told me also that this code 253 could be a problem with the mat cable??

Also, any way to just test de 3 height switches?

That switch is activated at 84" of lift. Connect a DVOM to CA102-2 on the access 4. Attach the other end to CA101-7. There should be 22-26v with the platform fully lowered. If the voltages are not correct test from the key switch to CA102-2.
If you are getting the correct voltages then it could be the access 4.

These test have to be performed with the lift on, both foot pedal pushed, gates closed, and hands on the hand grips.

Ok so...

A4.13 and A4.12 stays at 1
A4.11 stays at 1 when driving but right when I'm raising up the wave it jump to 0 and back to 1 after.

Height switch to replace I assume? If yes, how can I access the height switches to check them if wiring is bad or what..?

Event Code 253 means there is a miss match between the height switches. When fully lowered go into the service menu, analyzer menu, then watch A4.11 (HGTS20), A4.12 (HGTS84), and A4.13 (HGTS118).
When fully lowered all of the inputs should be 1. If any of them change to 0 while lowered and driving, that is the height switch causing the event code to appear. This either means the switch is going bad or there is a wiring problem.
If all the inputs stay at 1 when the event code appears then it could be an issue with the access 4 module.

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
