Discussion:
Error code 253??

Hi!

I have a wave 60 that randomly pop a code 253.
All is good then suddenly the wave just stop responding and beep with code 253. I have to mess with all the button, the hands, power on/off then suddenly the wave is good again. Then, 5min layer the same code 253 again. Whats the problem here? Also, when code 253 is here if I open the doors while i'm all down the alarm beep like If I would open the doors while I'm raised but i'm not. I don't know if this is due to code 253...

Thanks! :)

Event Code 253 means there is a miss match between the height switches. When fully lowered go into the service menu, analyzer menu, then watch A4.11 (HGTS20), A4.12 (HGTS84), and A4.13 (HGTS118).
When fully lowered all of the inputs should be 1. If any of them change to 0 while lowered and driving, that is the height switch causing the event code to appear. This either means the switch is going bad or there is a wiring problem.
If all the inputs stay at 1 when the event code appears then it could be an issue with the access 4 module.
