Discussion:
Error code 0CF1

Hello I get an occasional code 0CF1 does anybody know what this means?

Also the steering is wayward, turn the steering wheel continuously and sometimes the steering wheels stop moving momentaraly, I suspected the ram was faulty so swapped the axle with another truck I had in pieces and the fault is gone.

Ive had the steering ram resealed and fitted the axle to another truck and l have the same problem, if i disconect the steering potentiometer the steering is fine but I obviously get a potentiometer fault.

How does the potentiometer effect oil movement?

Thanks

The display says 0CF1 but what you say does make sense, weve had the overhead guard off to get it repaired, i wonder if weve missed a plug :)

Im going to try the steering pot off another truck, I cannot think it will be anything else but it does seem to work fine according to the dash display (wheel angle)

cheers Andrew

Good evening

Did you mean CF1? Schock sensor ko.
I think its mounted near the left tilt cilinder. A small black box, but i m not sure off the location.

You can always check signals from steering in the menu.
There is an EV mounted directly in the steering gear.
Check the service menu, there you can test almost everything
