Hello!
I have an interesting issue with this Yale, It starts up fine but after the startup it starts the countdown from 30 seconds until the engine is shut down.
The fault code is this: SPN: 524240 FMI: 3
I read the error messages through iFAK, it says it is a washer motor issue.
Is it possible that the machine shuts itself down because of a missing or broken washer motor?
Just for context, forklift was painted and reassembled, i am sure it is something minor but i can not find neither the washer motor, neither the cables for it
Please help if you have any idea what this could be

The first thing l would try on a forklift of this age would be to update the firmware. Yale brought out firmware to resolve this issue in around 2008. l know this because l had the very issue back then.

You will need the Yale dealer to order a new CDF file from the manufacturer and have them install. The CDF file is installed in the vehicle system management computer. This allows for updating the lift with new options and regular updates.

It only had a rear wiper motor, I get codes for the front and rear wiper motor, but it says it stops the engine because of a "WASHER". Sadly I do not have a troubleshooting manual and i can not locate the "Washer" on the forklift.
Is there any other way i can fool the forklift somehow?
I am not a pro with Yale trucks, what is a CDF and how can I get it updated?

Unfortunately,
Yale had an idea that went crazy. If the lift had a front or rear wiper motor that has removed, the engine will shut down. This has been changed on newer lifts. You will need to get an updated CDF installed to fix issue. Good Luck
I've never seen this problem but I've heard about the rear windshield wiper motor shutting down the truck. I imagine it could also be the front wiper motor. I know it sounds crazy, shutting down a truck because the windshield wiper doesn't work but that's what Yale decided was best.
I don't know if you could maybe change the software to eliminate this problem. Seems like you could use the software from the same forklift without the cab if Yale offers this model without the cab.
