Discussion:
Dual Battery voltage?

I see this model listed as dual battery voltage. 36/48. I sent an inquiry online to a dealer over 2 weeks ago and no one has gotten back to me. From what I understand you can use either a 48 or 36 volt battery in it. Is there some type of setting or does the controller know what voltage it is?

In the Options menu there is a setting 36/48V
You can test by making a "shortcut" from the 48volt battery take 18cells.
Then go to the options menu and set it to 36, see what happens.
Maybe you have to adjust the setting for the battery charge indicator, but thats in the Options menu too.
