Truck runs fine the only thing working on the display is the battery indicator anyone have this happen to them ?

Portions of the display can die and the truck still function.. usually wears through the traces on the board where the cover rubs it at the bottom. It might be possible to have flight Systems fix it also. fsip.biz I've used them for other things in the past. Just give them a call. Have the part number of the display and the complete model / sn of the truck handy.
