Linde (& Baker) B-50-CL:
Directional control

I just picked up this Baker B50CL, with very low hours. Nice truck, but the directional control has an issue. Neutral and reverse position are both acting as reverse, there is no neutral, and forward takes more rpm to get moving, with slower speed. Would this be an adjustment of the selector cable, or a problem with the directional valve? I have only owned it for 2 days, and I do not have a manual yet. Thanks.
