The steering is binding and the engine will hardly run sometimes. If we disconnect the pressure line from the pump going to the brake apply cylinder, we still have pressure on the steering cylinder even though it is bypassed. it acts like the pump is back feeding the return lines. This is a convoluted system and we cannot find any information any where. Any ideas??

Well a big Thank to Andreas as the o-rings on the fittings for the priority valve were dry rotted and causing bleed over from port to the next binding the pump. We changed the o-rings and all is well.

I have all books on pdf and can send you by email. Just give me your email address.
A book with flow charts and/or hydraulic schematics would be wonderful. Do you have it in digital form and can email it?
Hello Ricky,
it seems you have a problem with the steering gear or the priorityy valve. I have a manual and spareparts book to share with you, if you want.
Kind regards
Andreas
