Coolant air lock

Have an 1985 Toyota 20, had to change rad, can't seem to get the air out of the system, left cover of rad, loosened hoses, but still freezing up(propane) any help would be greatly appreciated. I will post the proper model

Are you sure it has air in it? If the thermostat is stuck open or the regulator has problems it would cause a freeze up.
