Communication error displayed even with brand new dash, tried accessing logics unit with computer diagnosis but will not connect, anyone with a similar problem?

@mobileshop did you ever figure this unit out? I have a Cat EC25N2 that also sometimes shows the "Comm Error" message on the display. I believe my issue is a connection somewhere, but I have no schematics to help me just yet.
