Discussion:
Codes not found in book

Hello all!

I have this Toyota, serial 77632, that has its SAS lamp flashing and showing codes 73, 74, 65 and 71. I don't have these codes in my book except for 65. They do not seem to be the same as the 8 series as I have no sensors on the kingpins. Does anyone have any info on these codes?

Thanks so much!

It's a 4Y and looked to be a normal Aisan system. No O2 sensor or even an ECU by the step. I thought the Woodwards were almost always just in Clarks.

those codes look suspiciously like Woodward faults, what engine is in your unit?

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
