had diodes backwards they changed pin numbers on them code 88 hyd pump was shot motor current during self test not right i suppose installed new pump 88 gone
when you sent in the amps to be checked (repaired) you also sent in the display unit as well? the display unit is also part of the logic circuit, everything runs through that and in my experience the display is very sensitive to voltage spikes and will get damaged if your not careful. I've replaced a few of these in the past.
Code 88 is: Lift motor current not present/Diode Failure
Says to check the 600 Amp lift fuse(blown) and Test the diode for the lift amplifier(shorted or open)
Those are the only two things in the troubleshooting section for this code.
we did blow a fuse while testing still have a nagging code 88
I would check to make sure your power fuses are not blown,i have seen a fuse look and test/ohm good but once it gets some current running thru it it goes dead.....also check the condition of your cables to make sure there are no bare spots that are shorting to frame when the motor is trying to run. Especially check you A1 and A2 cables from the Right traction amplifier to the motor(code 65R) Check the continuity of the motor windings in the right motor, check for an open winding condition
