Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) GP40K:
Code P1817. Engine bacfires through the intake on acceleration, and acceleration is very slow

I have a Cat GP40K, serial number AT29C10398 with a Mitsubishi 4.5 L engine that has a code P1817 and I have no info on that code. It is also very sluggish on acceleration and back fires through the intake on hard acceleration when it reaches governed RPM. I've replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires, and O2 sensor(B1S1). I've also adjusted the mixture on the regulator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
