Discussion:
Code e06-1 no throttle

Just replaced engine harness on this truck, had multiple codes and bad wires. Only codes left are e 01-5 and e 06-1. Have had the o2 sensor code on same model truck but it would still run and drive. The throttle motor code is harder to diagnose whether it is the etc or the ecm. Code only comes up after starting and immediatly goes into limp mode. No throttle response at all. Any help or directions would be appreciated.

Just had this issue pop up this morning on our 8FGCU25. I went about looking into the carb before it enters the intake manifold and found large deposits of soot where the throttle flap meets the walls. After cleaning it out there was a small clearance that the soot was obstructing and the forklift has been idling for 20 minutes and is purring like a kitten. Hope this helps someone.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
