Code C35

We have a code C 35 with no power to contactor. Fuses all good. We have no manual on this machine. Anyone have any ideas where to start?

Brake switch out of adjustment. Too far, broken wire, brake lever pivot bushing worn causing too much play
Brake switch light should be on just as brake is released
