I have another lift throwing the same code. It has 46.7 ohms at diagnostic port. Where do I go from here? Any help would be appreciated.

Diagnostic connector is on the right hand side of the steer column. There is a rubber cover over it. Three pin connector. Remove the front cover off of the steer column. The wires you need to test across are the yellow-green. Disconnect the battery before testing.

2000-12 is loss of Canbus communication. You should get 60 Ohms at diagnostic connector between can Hi and Can Lo. If you get 100 ohms or higher you have an open termination resistor.

I have a yale GLP040S having code 2000-12. The lift has started then quiet starting. Then would not even turn over. Dash would say starter shut down in count down. Then unplug battery for several days now this code pops up. It turns over but not start. Checked the ohms at test plug and they are both over a 100. All fuses look good. What should I check next?

Unplug the alternator and check for draw. Check to see if there are any accessories added to the truck. If there are unplug one at a time.

Hi all, i have a problem with a hyster ft model, draining power overnight. The Tranzorb resistor (68 ohm) is getting hot and when removed the battery voltage gradually climbs, what is causing this to drain battery volts?

The test for the transorb is. Connect ohm meter across terminals. The reading needs to be greater than 0.5 ohms, reverse leads and reading should be above 0.5 ohms. Basically you are checking for dead short.

Key off. Key on there is a low voltage signal being transmitted so your reading is incorrect. If this only occurs at start up and there are no other problems, I would not worry about the code until it happens while operating. It is nearly impossible to locate this type of problem until it is constant.

Do you know what the readings on Tranzorb resistor/diode should be?
