Hello have this 2ec25 that has no forward or reverse but hydraulics work ok, this unit has the logic board, I've checked negative to frame with battery disconnected with about 10 bolts, ivebcheck for positive to frame and have 27.7 volts, also checked ohms, both were infinity, all contactors and fuses are good, thanks for any advice

ok joshua,
i looked and found out that if you put the truck in diagnostic mode and pull back on the lift and tilt hydraulic levers it will display stored fault codes. This may be what you might have done?
Anyhow, fault 20 is described as display showing code 20 and the action light (!) flashing: no lift truck drive operation.
Possible Causes:
- current limit potentiometer P1 out of adjustment
- Excessive drive motor current due to severe ramps, abuse or misapplication.
- Drive pulsing stall timer option set too short for application.
- 80% bypass option ON (option #15).
- current sensor defects:logics defect.
In the 'checks' section is says to:
- Verify current limit setting
- Do problem #16 procedure (this deals with checking current limit sensor and related wiring)
- increase value of option #12 (pulse stall timer)
- disable option #15 if ramp application requires more current than set with P1 current limit potentiometer. (change setting to '0').
Now with all this said yes, if the drive motor brushes are as worn as you say it could be causing a problem in the drive system that is making it see voltages or amp rate readings that will trick it into this code. So yes, change the motor brushes, clean it thoroughly and make sure the sensor wires etc are undamaged. Make sure your directional contactors are in good condition and the contact tips are good too.
Then run the truck and see if anything changes.
It does have the switch, I was looking at the customer truck this morning, the brushes for the drive motor are pretty much gone, I've never seen them so work out before.. the customer does their own upkeep.. would explain how they've gotten to that point.. so I am going to replace those first then kinda go from there, info on that board would be awesome, thanks swoop
Dist-mode?
Does this panel have a DRS toggle switch?
DRS is diagnostic-run-setup modes
If you switch to diag "D" mode it will tell the logic to run a set diag ostic routine in a set order.
I'll have to check my info on what happens when it first initializes.
Thanks Joshua! it worked like magic.my sincere Thanks.
God Bless.
Ravikumar, 522598-4 is LPG lock off oorl ( out of range low )
You will need a new lock off valve kit that comes with a new pig tail plug end from take, cut back from the plug about 3 inches both wires, this will take care of that fault, afterwards go into the dash and clear all DTC's, only reason why hydraulics would be locked out is because the truck will not run? If there are other stored faults look for your most recent ones by checking the hour meter.. let me know if this helps. Thanks
YALE: GLP040SVXNURVO84
We are unable to get the ERROR codes for YALE anywhere on the net. I have error codes:522-598-4
HYDRAULIC INTERLOCK. Any information on troubleshooting will be appreciated.
Thanks
Sorry no idea that last message posted twice, could this be a motor brush issue, these look well worn out
Hey swoop, it's A2EC261813
It's not showing faults as I sit on the seat, it was only showing " 20 " on the dash when the logic board was in dish mode, when in operating mode it doesn't show any faults, it's actually showing a pump/drive motor with a gear in the center and another one with a drop of fluid but assuming it's low on fluid or needs to be changed as far as the symbol with the gear I'm unsure of, thanks
what serial number is the lift?
and also what code is it showing on the display when the seat switch is closed, direction is selected and accelerator depressed? (it may show a code as soon as the lift is turned on, it just depends on the type of error).
