Upon trying to install a brand new IPM box we keep getting Code 2:519??? Old box was Coding !:516. Does something need to be copied to accomplish installing a new IPM box?? Swapping from one truck to another is no problem, machine is not happy with new box. We even tried 2 brand new boxes - same result??
Anybody got any ideas what we're doing wrong??

You need the latest version of Truck Com for RRE H trucks, older versions wont work correctly with these.
Also certain early IPM's depending on there serial number required replacement & there was a safety campaign to replace them under warranty.
FWIW any NEW electronic component like a CID, IPM, MCU etc will come without the firmware in & require a firmware download then configuration with Truck Com once fitted on to the truck.
I see it's a 200 HCC - there is an active extended warranty campaign for the main over mast hose to the free lift cylinder due to the rubber outer sheath coming of the hose exposing the braiding. Ask your dealer tech to look up BQM 1803.
The factory are currently working on / trialling a upgraded hose.
Apparently a new IPM needs TruckCom applied to it and all software updated before it will work. Once dealer tech obtained the right/latest software for this lift it took him like 5 minutes to get rid of the code.... prior to him obtaining the correct software version we were getting no where. He wouldn't tell me if it was the new software OR he had to copy the CID and MCU to the IPM but, whichever, you need TruckCom and his laptop to do it. Swapping a IPM from one truck was to another successful..... but not a new one out of the box.
Hello Si did you get the IPM fault sorted?
Note: this isn't just me fumbling around - this is me and the dealer tech because this repair is warranty.
He can't figure it out either - I really wish the dealer would get these guys some updated training !!
I gotta get this truck up and running badly.
