Discussion:
Clark TM20 Line Contactor not close, No fwd/rev

It is a TM247........9091
Hydraulics work.
New EV100 card.
Line contactor does not close when forward or reverse.
The switches and the contactor had been checked ok.
What other things might cause this?

The truck was showing code 05 before I changed the card.
All in all, I had also changed the parking brake switch (which is not very expensive). Disconnected all power, discharged the capacitor, have the truck "reset".
It's now working.

not "ALL" ev100s have codes or a way to display codes, only ev100 systems that were LX and later have a way to display a code. if your ev100 card has a window with trim pots then you may not have any codes.
In any case the next step is to read voltages on the 6 screw term strip during the start up sequences and confirm the proper operation of the switches at the proper times. If the input is in the wrong order, or some circuit is closed when it should be open, the safety 'static return to off' circuitry will prevent normal start-up.

the hydraulics are not tied into the drive circuit so they will work independently

like kevin says, check all your fuses, make sure none are blown, remove them from thier sockets and check with ohm meter to make sure they are ok. Check for a seat switch and make sure it is making, if it is not then it will not drive.
all ev100 systems have a code system when something fails, check the hour meter display when you press the accelerator pedal and see if there are any codes comming up.
you say the ev100 card is new? did you replace it? did you set it up afterwards with clarks settings? they do not come preset, you have to do it with the ev100 handset or gesentry and a pc.

there is a strong possibility that the card settings are wrong

let us know something so we can help narrow it down further

Check the fuse just before the line Contactor see if it's blown.
