fault was in the H Bridge card, I bought new one ,finally forklift works properly.

washed it?
no brainer
dry it out (with a heat gun or hair dryer if you have one)
blow out all switches and motors with compressed air
anything you can try so to make moisture evaporate

then...
connect battery and deal with any errors that still exist (if any exist)

water gets into switches and motor windings and causes these codes.
I have seen it take days to completely dry out for them all to go away :o/

Hi,
When is full lock on the left motor the truck doesnt drive revers.
When the lever is switched back the main switch goes out and appears error code 18.
When I start truck it drives forward when I let go and then press again gas pedal the error code 18appears.
Both motors left and right are correct.

Hi Mate

Fault relates to right drive motor field circuit. Check field circuit if that checks ok its a good chance fault is in the H Bridge card.

Does the truck drive ok in both directions on full lock on the left motor?

Hallo,
I have Caterpillar ep 16kt, serial number ET34A27543, year 2002.
The main problem is that forklift moves forward, but doesnt move back.When gas pedal is pressed again fall out all the functions of movement (forward/revers )and appears on the screen ERror 18.
What can be a problem?

We have error problem at display HS 5 or H5.

Do you know something more about this.
Do you mean on kyba logic card which is for example used at nissan forklifts?

Sorry if i am asking too much but do you know where is situated H bridge card?

Do shorts to frame test prior to install of new logic card.

Code 60 is lack of communication between Dash and Logic Card.

Truck turns on, sees no comms, display reads Code 60.

Use part # on card to order new, this card is used in many many many applications.

Would not be surprised to see H-bridge card dead too.

offcurse everything is at one maschine
after soemody smart washed elektro forklift with miniwash
display started with 52, 53 and at the end number 60 is all the time there.

60 is a serial communication fault, faulty display unit, faulty wiring or logic card. 52 is a right hand speed sensor fault and 53 is a left hand speed sensor fault. If you are getting all these on one machine i would suggest looking at the main loom.

If you remove the floor plate with the accelerator pedal on it, the pot is on the underside of the floor plate. The part number for the potentiometer is printed on the pot. If the new pot is not fitted in the correct position you will still get the 51 fault. i would just give the existing pot a slight twist before replacing it. Loosen the 2 screws and twist the pot a fraction and retry. You may find this is all you need to do.

sometimes you can work wit it 3 hours (joust example)

Throttle pot adjustment. You can usually get rid of the error by very slightly rotating the pot. If this fails you will need to fit a new pot.
