can anyone help me with testing procedure/pressures for transmission/torque convertor on a dp30k ,have one that is slow on initial drive and gets worst as truck is used.

the ET designation makes this a euro model but its the same as the AT. What i'm sending you will show metric and US standards in the tables so you should be fine with this.

those pressures prentice posted are not correct, close though ;o)
I had a unit last year with the same problem
Pressure tests in PSI
Main 142.2 to 177.8
Clutch 142.2 to 177.8
Torque 14.2 to 71.1
Lube 7.11 to 72.7
Test run at 1600 RPM
We found low clutch pressure, pull trans apart and found broken Snap rings on the Fwd/Rev Clutch packs. Hope this helps.
does this happen in both directions? fwd and rev?
