Unicarriers (& Nissan) MPLO2A25LV:
Can't find the crank sensor!

Hey all, my company has a 2004 Nissan 50 MPL02A25LV and it won't start, and it doesn't get any spark. After asking around, we determined that it is most likely the crank sensor. I have the new one, but I can't find where it goes! Any insight?

Thanks!

I think the LV is made for/in USA.
I would check dash code first?
no code? change the relays in the relay box (swap all with known good). Maybe key switch or wires to key switch if no code.

"it's not rocket surgery"
Is this engine fuel injected? If so the crank sensor is located at the front of the engine between the crank pulley and the water pump. There are 2 sensors here, the one pointing down is the crank and the one pointing in is the cam. This only applies to the injected engines. As a thought, the model designation for an injected engine is usually MPL02A25DV or JV. Not sure what the L means. Also a faulty sensor will show an error code on the dash. Cheers!
